Translate what you say in Google Meet, usually starting in under one second. Choose from 58 languages and use a standard voice or an optional personal voice on supported paid plans.
Works through the desktop app or browser extension.
There are two practical options. Google Meet has a built-in Speech Translation feature for eligible Google AI and Workspace plans. It translates between English and French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish and creates audio in a voice similar to the speaker.
Loquora sends translation through the Loquora microphone or browser extension. It supports 58 languages, lets you read or hear translated replies, and also works with Zoom, Teams, Telegram, Discord and other calling apps.
Google's built-in feature is convenient when everyone fits its language and account requirements. Loquora is useful when you need more languages or want the same translator outside Google Meet.
Use the Loquora microphone in the computer app, or translate directly in a supported browser call with the extension.
Enable Google's native feature inside an eligible meeting when your language pair is supported.
Both options translate live speech, but they solve different access and language requirements.

The desktop app is the most flexible option because it works as a microphone across your computer.
Download the app for Windows or macOS, create an account, and complete the short audio setup.
Select the language you speak and the language other meeting participants should hear.
In Google Meet, open audio settings and choose the Loquora virtual microphone as your input device.
Loquora can start translating a long sentence before you finish saying all of it.
The Loquora desktop app also works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, Discord, and other software that accepts a microphone input.
