No. Only you set up Loquora. The other person hears the translation in their usual calling app and doesn’t need a Loquora account.
The Loquora app is available for Windows and macOS. You can connect it to Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, Discord and WeChat. In most apps, select the virtual microphone. For WeChat, make it your system’s default microphone. The extension supports compatible browser calls, including Google Meet, Teams web and Discord web. There is no phone app yet.
Translation usually starts speaking in less than a second. Longer sentences can start translating before you finish saying them. Timing depends on your connection, computer load, background noise and the sentence itself. Live translation can make mistakes, so it’s a good idea to confirm important names, numbers and agreements.

The free plan lets you try outgoing translation with a standard voice and read incoming subtitles. There are 58 languages to choose from, with auto-detection for 10 of them.
