Fix a problem
I hear myself or an echo
In the current Loquora version, persistent echo usually means the wrong speakers are selected or your computer is playing the microphone back to you.
A headset is no longer required. Check the sound settings first instead of switching straight to headphones.
What to do
- 1
Check the playback device
Select built-in speakers or a normal audio output, never the virtual microphone.
- 2
Disable system monitoring
On Windows, turn off Listen to this device. On macOS, remove unnecessary monitoring or aggregate routes.
- 3
Enable noise suppression
Update Loquora, turn on noise suppression and make sure the Loquora microphone is not selected as your speaker.
- 4
Check original voice volume
If original voice mixing is enabled, lower its level and repeat the test from a second device.
Good to know
- Moderate speaker volume helps in acoustically difficult rooms.
- Headphones remain an optional choice for privacy or very loud environments.
